4th Sunday in Ordinary Time (B)

Parish message of the week,

  1. As we soon begin our Lenten season, all those who have blessed Palm branches from the past year, are asked to bring them to the parish to be burned for the making of ashes for Ash Wednesday. You can leave the old blessed palms at the parish counter, or at the latest bring them to next Sunday’s Mass where they will be collected.
  2. We received a request from the Hong Kong Catholic Marriage Advisory Council seeking donations for their very important work offering counseling services for those engaged, those in marriage and those facing difficulties in family life. This vital ministry is a great assistance to Catholics and we encourage those who are able, to pick up one of the donation sheets at the doors of the church and help the Council for their work this year.
  3. Our 2nd year adult catechumens who will be baptized at this year’s Easter Vigil will participate in the RITE OF ELECTION on Sunday, 11th February during the 12:30 p.m. Mass. Given the larger number of adults who will be baptized, and their sponsors, the right-hand side of the church will be reserved for about 7 rows for them on the 11th of February, and first three Sundays of March. Please help us to welcome them and accompany them during the Lenten season.
  4. Our Ash Wednesday Mass in English and distribution of Ashes will take place on 14th February 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
