Anointing of the Sick
The Anointing of the Sick is one of the seven Sacraments in Catholic tradition. It is administered by a priest who uses oil to anoint and lay hands on the recipient, while praying to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. The special grace of the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick has as its effects: the uniting of the sick person to the passion of Christ, for his own good and that of the whole Church. It conveys several graces and imparts gifts of strengthening in the Holy Spirit against anxiety, discouragement, and temptation, and conveys peace and fortitude.
Distribution of Holy Communion by Extraordinary Ministers
Apart from our priests and deacon who are the ordinary ministers of the Holy Communion, our parish also provide administration of Holy Communion by extraordinary ministers. They will bring the Holy Eucharist to our parishioners who are unable to attend mass and the ones who are the sick.
