Parish message of the week:-

Before Mass:

1. As announced for the last two weeks, there will be a special collection taken up today for the support of construction of the new Catholic University in Hong Kong. Individual cheques should be made payable to “Caritas Institute of Higher Education” with the notation “The Establishment of Catholic University.”

2. All adult catechumens (those who have not been baptized only) and who completed the First Year of the RCIA programme in English in our parish will meet Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. beginning August 28th. Other programmes will be announced by mid-August.

3. Yesterday, Father Francis Xavier WONG Kwan-Yau was ordained by Cardinal John TONG to the priesthood in Immaculate Conception Cathedral. He celebrated his First Mass in Cantonese at our parish 9:30 p.m. Mass this morning. He will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for our English Community on Sunday 20 August at the 12:30 Mass.
