In compliance with the latest Diocesan Pastoral measures which work along with the Government’s efforts to better control the pandemic outbreak in Hong Kong, our Church and Chapel have to be closed for visits, prayers and services until 20 April 2022. All public masses, rites of Holy Communion and religious gatherings are to be suspended during the period. Our Parish Office will however continue to operate and serve on our usual schedule.
All people entering the Parish Centre is required to use the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile application and to provide a QR code with vaccination record as some of premises are being governed under the “Vaccine Pass” rules implemented in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation (Cap. 599).
As for weddings and funerals held during the said period, the following arrangements will be made:
Weddings: According to the required statutory, only 5 participants would be allowed at the ceremony – they are the officiating minister, the bride and groom, and their two witnesses. No other guests will be permitted to attend. We will however offer the couple a blessing ceremony without extra charges when restriction for public religious services is lifted.
Funerals: Vigil mass and funeral mass is recommended to be attended by immediate family members only. Requiem mass can be arranged with friends and relatives later when the tightened measure is lifted.
