Parish message of the week:

1. The new term for the RCIA groups in English begin this week. Group “A” for those just starting, meets Monday evening, 19 September 2016 at 7:30 p.m. and Group “B” for those who began last year or those who are preparing for Confirmation, meets Thursday 22 September 2016. Both groups meet in Room 515 of the parish centre.

2. Our next parish-wide celebration of Infant Baptism will take place on Sunday, 16 October 2016. All those who wish to register for this date as well as those who have received permission for a private baptism of their child before that date are reminded that the required seminar for parents and godparents will take place on Saturday, 24 September 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

3. Our Catechism Classes for Children in English will begin this coming Saturday, 24 September 2016.

4. We welcome the Daughters of St. Paul today who are here to introduce their new publication in Chinese and English for children, entitled The Children’s Bible Storybook. It will be offered after Mass for a special price.

5. A group supporting the renovation of the home in Italy of Blessed Gabriele Maria Allegra will be taking up donations for this charity after Mass.

6. This coming Tuesday we ask all to join in prayer with Pope Francis who will meet in Assisi with leaders of world religions for an Interreligious Prayer Meeting for Peace.
