Parish message of the week,

1. Our next monthly Adult Formation Class will be this Wednesday evening, January 30^th at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. This month’s topic is “The 2^nd Missionary Journey of St. Paul, and his Letters to Galatians, Philippians, and to Philemon.” Please bring a copy of the New Testament.
2. Our two RCIA groups of adult catechumens continue their weekly classes on Thursday evening for the 2^nd year candidates, and Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. for the 1^st year candidates.
3. The Diocesan Audio Visual Centre is distributing today a video for “The Year of Practice, Belief, Youth,” that was an initiative of our late Bishop Michael Yeung.
4. On next Sunday evening, we will have a special mass to pray for the close of the current Lunar New Year at 9:00 p.m. in the church. The Mass is a commemoration for all who died in this past year and will be in Cantonese.
5. Our parish celebrations for the Chinese New Year will be in Cantonese at Masses at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. at St Margaret’s Church and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King. The special costume day and Lion Dances will take place on Sunday, 10 February after the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Masses, and all are welcome.
6. Information about our Parish Pilgrimage “In the Footsteps of St. Paul” that will take place in various locations in Greece and Turkey from September 27^th to October 7^th next year is posted on the parish main bulletin board in the vestibule near the Reception Desk. We still have room for those interested.
