Fifth Sunday of Lent (A)

Parish message of the week,

  1. April 7, Good Friday, is a day of fast and abstinence. All Catholics between ages 18 and 60 should have only one full meal on the day and abstain from taking meat. For those over age 14 but under 18, please abstain from meat on the day.
  2. Stations of the Cross in Chinese will be held on every Friday during Lent. The Lenten donation boxes are to be returned to the Parish counter latest by Good Friday.
  3. You may come to 1st Floor of Parish Center for confession in English on next Sunday, Apr 2, in the afternoon between 2:30 and 4pm. As an alternative, you may also leave your name and contact number with the parish office for a separate appointment for confession in English.
  4. Services in English for the Holy Week Triduum are as follows:
  • Apr 6, Holy Thursday, the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated in the Parish Hall at 8pm
  • Apr 7, Good Friday, the Way of the Cross will be conducted in Church at 11am; and the Lord’s Passion will be held in the Parish Hall at 3pm
  • April 8, The Easter Vigil will be celebrated on the Holy Saturday in the Parish Hall at 8pm
  1. Due to the very limited carpark space available in the compound, you are advised not to drive to the church on the above occasions. Thank you for your understanding.
