Parish message of the week,

1. We congratulate all of our parish children who received their First Holy Communion during Mass today and we wish blessings on their parents and families.
2. Next Sunday we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension. It is also the celebration for World Communications Day. A second collection will be taken up at all Masses for the Social Communications works of the diocese.
3. Applications for a new class for adults seeking to be baptized into the Catholic Church or who are baptized Christians but wish to become Catholics will be made available on or about June 1^st. The class is for adults over the age of 20, and will have a limited number accepted to the class because of space. The classes will tentatively be held on Friday evenings starting 31^st August 2018. The group already completing their first year of classes will continue meeting on Thursdays for their second year also.
