Parish message of the week,

1. Father Francis Xavier WONG Kwan-Yau will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for our English Community next Sunday 20 August at the 12:30 Mass. The special “box” for a community offering for him is on the side of the sanctuary. You are also cordially invited to meet him and receive his priestly blessing after the Mass.

2. All adult catechumens who completed the First Year of the RCIA programme in English last May will meet again on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. beginning August 28^th.

3. Registration begins today for a new Adult Initiation Class in English that will meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning September 7^th. Registration forms can be picked up at the Reception Desk after Mass or downloaded from our parish website. Registration is only for adults (over 18) who have not been baptized or who, if baptized in a non-Catholic Church, wish to convert to the Catholic Church. Those registering who are married should register with also the name of the spouse (IF the spouse is Catholic). This class will be limited to 15-20 catechumens and so it is on a first-come, first-served basis because of limited classroom space.

4. Because of a number of other commitments that are filling up Fr. McCabe’s calendar, the proposed Adult On-Going Formation course that will be offered monthly will be slightly postponed. We will make new announcements once the scheduling can be more properly organized.

5. Class for expectant parents and god-parents who are preparing an infant for Baptism scheduled for next Saturday is cancelled since we had no registrations for this upcoming time frame.
