Parish message of the week:

1. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and prayers for all mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers in our community as well as expectant mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day. At the end of Mass there will be a special blessing, and following the final hymn, a memento will be distributed to all mothers at the altar.
2. Tickets for the parish dinner celebrating VOCATIONS are still available, and we wish to especially encourage members of our English community to attend the dinner that honours not only Father Francis LI for his 60 years as a priest and for this 90th birthday, and the mother of our pastor, who has given from among her children two priests and a Religious sister, but also our pastor for the English community, Father McCabe who celebrates his 40th Anniversary of Ordination.
3. We remind the RCIA groups there are classes tomorrow (Monday) and Thursday as usual at 7:30 p.m. Our teenage group will have their last meeting next Saturday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m.
4. Next Sunday, May 21st, we will celebrate the First Communions of our parish children at the 12:30 p.m. Mass.
